How to Capture Meta Lead Ads into ASH

Meta Lead Ads on Facebook and Instagram are one of the busiest lead sources for Indian businesses, but a form fill only has value if it reaches a salesperson while the interest is still warm. Emailing yourself a CSV once a day defeats the purpose. This guide shows how to connect Meta Lead Ads to ASH so every submission lands in your pipeline in real time, correctly tagged and ready to route.

What you need before you start

  • A Facebook Page with an active Lead Ad form.
  • Access to Meta for Developers, with an app you can add the Webhooks product to.
  • Admin access to your ASH workspace.

Connect the webhook

Open Settings → Integrations in ASH and choose Meta Lead Ads. Click Connect and ASH generates two things for you: a private webhook URL and a verify token. Both are unique to your workspace.

  • In Meta for Developers → your App → Webhooks, add the ASH URL as the callback URL and paste the verify token.
  • Meta calls the URL once to confirm it. ASH answers the challenge automatically, so the subscription verifies in a second.
  • Subscribe to the leadgen field, then connect your Facebook Page and its lead form to the app.

Let ASH fetch the full lead

Meta's notification only carries a lead ID, not the answers. Add your Page access token in ASH so it can call the Graph API and pull the actual field data — name, phone, email, city and any custom questions. If that fetch ever fails, ASH still stores a minimal lead against the lead ID, so nothing is lost and you can follow up.

Secure the feed

Add your Meta App Secret in ASH. Every payload Meta sends is signed, and ASH validates that signature before accepting the lead, so a stranger who guesses your URL cannot inject fake enquiries. This step is optional but strongly recommended once you are live.

Source and campaign tagging

Every captured lead is tagged Meta Ads, and ASH adds a form tag — for example meta-form: followed by the form ID — so you can tell your enquiry form apart from your webinar form at a glance. Filter the Leads list by these tags to see which creative is producing conversations, not just clicks.

What happens after capture

Once leads flow in, the rest of ASH takes over.
