Email Marketing in ASH: Templates, Sequences and Tracking

ASH Team · 17 July 2026 · 6 min read

WhatsApp is where a lot of Indian buyers prefer to talk, but email still does quiet, dependable work: sharing brochures, sending structured follow-ups, and staying in touch with leads who are not ready yet. Email Marketing is now available in ASH on the Enterprise plan, and it is built to sit alongside your WhatsApp conversations rather than replace them. Here is what it does and how to use it well.

Templates with personalisation

You create reusable email templates once and use them everywhere. Templates support merge fields such as {{name}}, so each recipient sees their own details instead of a generic greeting. This keeps your messaging consistent across the team while still reading as if it were written for the individual. Because templates are shared, a new team member sends the same well-worded email as your most experienced colleague, without copy-pasting from an old thread.

Drip sequences with day delays

A single email rarely does the job on its own. Drip sequences let you line up a series of emails with a delay between each one, measured in days. For instance, a welcome email on day zero, a useful explainer on day two, and a check-in on day five. The lead moves through the sequence automatically, and you decide the pacing.

  • Set the order and timing so the story unfolds at a sensible pace rather than all at once.
  • Enrol leads manually or via Automations, so a new enquiry can be dropped into the right sequence the moment it arrives.
  • Keep it honest: a sequence keeps you present in the inbox, but it is a nurture tool, not a promise of a reply or a sale.

If you want sequences to start on their own, pair them with the Automations builder, where enrolling into an email sequence is one of the available actions.

Open and click tracking

Once emails go out, you can see which were opened and which links were clicked. This tells you where attention is, so a lead who has opened three emails and clicked your pricing link is a reasonable one to call next. Treat these signals as guidance rather than certainty; open tracking in particular can be affected by how different mail clients load images. Used sensibly, though, it helps your team prioritise their day.

How it fits with the rest of ASH

Email lives next to the lead record, so the emails you send and the engagement they generate sit in the same place as your WhatsApp threads, tasks and notes. Your team gets one view of the relationship instead of hopping between tools. This is especially useful for longer decision cycles, such as an education admissions journey or a considered real estate purchase, where staying in touch over weeks matters.

Getting started

Email Marketing is an Enterprise-plan feature. If you are on Enterprise, start by building two or three templates for the emails you send most often, then wrap them into one short sequence for new leads. You can review plan details on our pricing page. As always, the goal is consistent, respectful follow-up, not volume for its own sake.
