How to Install ASH on an iPhone

You can add ASH to your iPhone home screen and run it like an app, without the App Store. The steps differ from Android in one important way: on iOS, adding a web app to the home screen only works from Safari. Spend a minute setting it up and ASH opens full screen from its own icon, ready for your leads and WhatsApp conversations.

Use Safari — it matters on iPhone

Apple only allows web apps to be installed to the home screen from Safari. If you normally browse in Chrome or another browser on your iPhone, open ASH in Safari specifically for this step. Once it is on your home screen, it runs on its own, and you can go back to whichever browser you prefer for everything else.

Add ASH to your home screen

• Open ASH in Safari and sign in at your ASH web address.
• Tap the Share button — the square with an upward arrow, in the bottom toolbar.
• Scroll down and tap "Add to Home Screen".
• Adjust the name if you wish and tap Add. An ASH icon appears on your home screen.
• Launch ASH from that icon for a full-screen, app-like view.

What works once it is installed

The home-screen app is the complete ASH. You can manage your lead inbox, WhatsApp replies, stages and tasks, and the in-app notification bell keeps showing new leads and assignments while you have the app open. For day-to-day CRM work on the move, it behaves just like a native app.

Limitations worth knowing

A few iOS-specific points are worth setting expectations on:

• Safari-only install. The "Add to Home Screen" option will not appear in Chrome or other iOS browsers.
• Push notifications are limited. Web-app push on iPhone is only available on newer iOS versions and, even then, is more restricted than on Android. Treat the notification bell inside the app as your reliable source of alerts.
• Refreshing after an update. Because it is a web app, ASH always loads the current version — but if something looks off after a big update, remove the icon and add it again.
