Weekly Management Summary Emails for Owners

ASH Team · 18 July 2026 · 4 min read

Owners and managers rarely have time to sit inside a CRM dashboard every day, yet they are the people who most need to know the direction of travel. So we built the summary to come to them. ASH now sends a weekly management summary email to owners and managers — a plain, readable digest of what happened across the account, delivered to the inbox where you already start your day.

Why an email, and why weekly

Dashboards are excellent when you are actively working a problem. They are less useful when you simply want to know whether the week went well. A weekly email meets a different need: it is a scheduled moment of reflection, not a tool you have to remember to open. Delivering it at the start of the week means you walk into Monday already oriented — you know what came in, what moved, and where attention is needed — before the first meeting even begins.

What the summary covers

The email is designed to be read in a minute or two, not studied. It pulls together the week's account activity so you get the shape of performance without logging in:

  • Lead intake — how many new leads arrived across your capture sources over the week.
  • Pipeline movement — the activity across your stages, so you can see whether leads are progressing or stalling.
  • Team activity — a view of how the account has been worked, useful for spotting both strong weeks and quiet ones.

The goal is a trustworthy snapshot. If a number looks off, you open ASH and dig into the detail; if everything reads as expected, you have your answer without lifting a finger.

How it fits with the notification bell

These two features solve opposite ends of the same problem. The notification bell is the minute-by-minute view — new leads and assignments as they happen. The weekly summary is the zoomed-out view — the trend across seven days. A rep lives in the bell; an owner lives in the summary. Together they mean you can choose your altitude: down in the detail when you need to act, or up at the summary level when you just need the direction.

Who receives it

The summary is aimed at owners and managers — the people accountable for the number rather than for working individual leads. It is a natural companion to the deeper reporting inside ASH for anyone who wants to go further, and to Enterprise features like email marketing and calling for teams building out their full communication stack. If you own or manage an ASH account, watch for the summary landing at the top of your week — and reply to your account contact if you would like the recipient list adjusted.
